For many women, perimenopause and menopause bring significant emotional as well as physical changes. Alongside symptoms such as disrupted sleep or changes in energy, some women experience shifts in confidence, self-esteem, relationships, identity, and emotional wellbeing which can feel unsettling and a challenge to navigate.
While menopause is a significant transition for many women, men can also experience emotional and psychological changes during midlife. Changes in health, retirement, shifting relationships, caring responsibilities, or questioning identity and purpose, which can all impact emotional wellbeing. Counselling offers a private, non-judgemental and authentic space where you can explore, make sense of how you’re feeling and thinking, so you can move forward in a way that feels right for you.
If you feel ready to take the first step, I invite you to book a complimentary 15-minute call. It’s an opportunity to talk about what’s bringing you to counselling, explore how I may be able to support you, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
I offer counselling to clients face-to-face from my private practice, welcoming people from Wimborne, Bournemouth, Poole, Blandford, and the surrounding areas. For those who prefer greater flexibility or are based further afield, I also offer online counselling sessions.
