Supporting Your Healing Journey with Compassion and Insight

If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, navigating trauma, or feeling stuck in old patterns, counselling and life coaching offers a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to heal. I offer trauma-informed, integrative counselling for adults and young people who are looking for lasting emotional change. I counsel clients online and from a comfortable and private location in Corfe Mullen serving my local clients in Wimborne, Bournemouth, Poole, Blandford and the surrounding areas.

Types of Counselling I Offer

Anxiety can sometimes feel like a constant hum in the background or a sudden wave that takes over. If it’s worry, overwhelm, or a sense of unease, counselling offers a calm, supportive space to understand your experience and find relief, learning ways to feel more grounded, calm, and in control.

Developmental or Relational Trauma Counselling

Sometimes, the past leaves echoes that show up in how we feel, relate, or see ourselves in the present. If you’re carrying the weight of early or ongoing emotional wounds, we can work together to gently explore those patterns and create new ways of being.

Low Self-Worth or Chronic Self-Criticism Counselling

If your inner voice is harsh or you’re feeling like you’re not enough, you’re not alone. Together, we’ll explore where those beliefs came from and help you reconnect with your true worth with self-compassion.

Depression Counselling

When life feels heavy or numb, even small tasks can feel impossible. You don’t have to face this alone. I offer a compassionate and safe space where we can explore what’s weighing you down and help you gently move toward more meaning and hope again.

Grief and Loss Counselling

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline; feelings can come in waves that feel impossible to manage. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, I’m here to support you at your own pace.

Stress and Burnout Counselling

When you’re constantly overwhelmed, exhausted, or on edge, it can be a sign that your mind and body are asking for help. In the therapeutic counselling relationship, we can take time to understand what’s draining you and explore how to create space for rest, clarity, and realignment.

Emotional Dysregulation Counselling

If your emotions feel too big, too sudden, or too hard to manage, it can feel overwhelming and outside of your control. In the counselling relationship we can make sense of what your feeling, putting language to your experiences, building skills and tools to help you feel more grounded, safe, and in control.

Life Transitions or Identity Counselling

Changes, wanted or not, can stir up uncertainty, grief, or questions about who and where are you now. Whether you’re navigating a major shift or rethinking your path, I’m here to help you move through with clarity and self-trust.

Parenting, Family, or Relationship Counselling

Relationships can be beautiful and tough to understand, at times. If you’re feeling caught in patterns that no longer feel right, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward, we can explore your experiences together and find new ways to communicate and connect, with more understanding of yourself and the dynamics.

My Counselling Approach

My practice is integrative, which means I draw from different approaches to match your needs, including:

  • Person-centred therapy – offering warmth, empathy, and unconditional positive regard
  • Trauma-informed and somatic awareness – helping you feel safe in your body and nervous system
  • Mind-body integration – connecting your emotional and physical experiences
  • Psychoeducation – understanding how your nervous system, brain, and body work together
  • Psychodynamic – how past relationships and experiences may still be affecting you today
  • Phenomenology – how your past experiences may still shape your present
  • Existential – exploring big life questions, meaning, purpose, identity
  • Coaching tools – for practical support in making real-life changes

At the heart of my approach is genuine human connection. I offer a safe, grounded space where you can explore your lived experience and your way of seeing the world without judgment — and start to rewrite your story.
